BIO 535 Adv. Arthropod Biodiversity
Survey of evolution, morphology, classification, life histories, physiology, behavior, and ecology of arthropods. Laboratories will include hypothesis-evaluation studies, insect sampling, collecting, mounting, labeling, and identification. Students will complete a major collection of specimens identified to the family as well as a survey of non-insect arthropods. Weekday and weekend field trips to various terrestrial and aquatic habitats will be required.
