PHYS 101 Elem Physics I
A non-calculus survey of basic concepts in the areas of mechanics, wave motion and thermodynamics including motion in one and two dimensions, types of forces, torques, work, forms of energy, power, conservation laws, heat, calorimetry, laws of thermodynamics, longitudinal and transverse waves, interference of waves, fluids and pressure. Pre-requisite: MATH 145 or equivalent and some knowledge of tirgonometry. MATH ACT of 25 or SAT 1126.
