BIO 406 Field Biology & Lab
Field identification of common animals and plants, with emphasis on field work; methods of quantitatively describing plant and animal communities will be practiced in the field; students will learn methods of collection, preservation, and population estimation. Three one-hour lectures and one three-hour laboratory per week, as well as extended weekend field trips. For biology majors and minors, majors in biology teacher education, and other interested students. Pre-req: BIO 124, 125, 200, 202, and 207.
