DH 185 Clinical Dental Hygiene I
This course provides the student with fundamental knowledge, concepts and competencies required for the practice of dental hygiene. Students are introduced to infection control methods, transmissible diseases, health promotion and disease prevention therapies and methods of assessment and data collection. Oral health products will be explored and researched for safety and efficacy. Must be Associate degree-seeking DH student.
