DH 225 Periodontology I
This course provides an introduction to the study of periodontology. Topics include the anatomy of the periodontium, the microbiology of periodontis and assessment methods utilized for the detection and diagnosis of disease. Prerequisite: Students must be admitted to the Dental Hygiene Program.
