Natural disasters can have a substantial negative impact on life, economics, and civil planning. Professionals, in their work and personal lives, need to learn to prepare and plan accordingly to prevent the loss of life and property. This course focuses primarily on the methods of response to naturally destructive phenomena, as well as the physical mechanisms by which these events are triggered, so as to provide sufficient foundation on which professionals can understand the most appropriate and effective emergency responses to such disasters.
