A comprehensive study of the functions of contemporary tourism promotion,
both domestic and international, covering how destination management organizations market their area to leisure travel, business travel, and meetings/conventions, as well as providing support services for relocation and business development. Relationships involving hosts and guests, supplies and consumers are explored, along with the complex networking of residents, government officials, and organization leaders and employees. Prerequisite: TEM 300, MKT 331, MGT 350.
