THE 370 Voice & Speech for the ActorII
Building on the basics developed in THE 365, this course explores techniques in developing characterizations using vocal qualities and various dialects suitable to the character. International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) will be one tool used in the development of dialects along with the use of primary and secondary sources. The work will include monologue and scene work displaying a variety of learned dialects. Pre-req: THE 365 or instructor's permission.
