DH 340 Nutrition in Dentistry

The course is designed to provide the dental hygiene student with current information regarding the science and practice of nutrition as it pertains to dentistry and overall health in general. Emphasis is placed on the role of diet and nutrition on oral health and the benefits of nutritional and dietary counseling in the prevention and management of dental/oral diseases.
