NUR 315 Professional Nursing I

Focuses on fundamental concepts including basic patient needs and selected commonly occurring medical-surgical health problems in adulthood through late adulthood. Nursing process as a basis for clinical reasoning is introduced. The aging process, common issues, and health needs of older adults are addressed. Patient-centered care and best practices for maintaining wellness and maximizing function will be emphasized.
