FIN 570 Healthcare Finance & Revenue Cycle
The course focuses on financial decision making in healthcare organizations. In addition to gaining an understanding of the time value analysis and financial risk and required return on investments, students will also analyze the capital (investment) projects that would allow a healthcare organization to enter new markets, expand or add new product and service lines, strengthen their competitive position, reduce operational risk through diversification and enhance financial performance. Financing using debt and / or equity securities as well as the measurement and management of different forms of risk are also part of the broader efficient management of the overall revenue cycle in healthcare organizations covered in this course.
