BIO 331 Plant Taxonomy Systematic Botany

The principles of classification of the seed plants and the evolutionary relationships among plant families; plant family relationships on a world-wide basis are clarified by observing and identifying living plants collected in the field, as well as plant specimens located in the departmental herbarium. Three lectures and one two-hour laboratory per week. Primarily for biology majors and minors, and majors in biology teacher education.
