CLS 210 Introduction to Clinical Lab Science
Fundamental theoretical methods of quality control, quality assurance, and method comparison. Included in this course will be the application of laboratory math and the fundamentals of phlebotomy techniques, safety (OSHA, material data safety sheets), HIPAA, basic laboratory methods, and an overview of government regulations.
This course may also include an offsite visit to observe clinical laboratories in a hospital/ clinical lab setting.
