DMD 307 Screenwriting for Film

Students will learn the industry standard techniques of screenwriting for narrative films, both fiction and nonfiction, including proper screenwriting formatting, identifying and analyzing the significant events that shape the structure of a story in narrative film, devising a narrative arc, creating subtext and dialogue, pacing, and preparing a script for the film production process.
