ACC 570 Healthcare Cost Accounting Analysis
This course provides an overview of external and internal decision-making related to health care using accounting information. Course coverage includes financial management, tax issues, third-party payments, Medicare and Medicaid, and cost accounting issues related to health care. From a decision-making perspective, the course will include profitability, financial analysis, bad debts and charity care, classifying costs and allocating costs.
