CIS 570 Healthcare Information Systems Management
Studying the record keeping practices in the hospital and physician's office, this course emphasizes the hospital and medical staff within the healthcare organization, patient record content, as well as the procedures in filing, numbering and retention of patient records. The quantitative analysis, release of patient information, forms control and design, indexes and registers are also examined. An introduction to patient information, forms control and design, indexes and registers is covered as is an introduction to reimbursement and alternate health career delivery systems.
