EP 522 Legal & Professional Standards
In this course students will learn about risk and accountability in the exercise setting, laws governing confidentiality and other aspects of healthcare, and ethics in professional practice and in research, including institutional review board procedures. Students will also learn about the profession of exercise physiology with a focus on continuing education and the importance of maintaining their personal physical fitness.
