GBUS 525 Social Responsibility & Business Ethics

This course provides students with fundamental knowledge of contemporary social responsibility and business ethics. Covering topics such as the analysis of the fiduciary, legal and ethical responsibilities, liabilities and immunities of corporate directors, officers and managers students with insight into these critical issues. Additionally, organizational governance, corporate citizenship, social responsibility and legal compliance are addressed. Students consider conflicts between goals and values and develop a foundation for analyzing and resolving ethical dilemmas.
