SLP 501 Research Methods in Speech-Language Pathology

This course explores the current best practice in evidenced based decision making for assessment and treatment of individuals with communication disorders. An overview of research methods and tools for evaluation of research will be discussed. Emphasis will be placed on critical thinking and the integration of reliable and valid research evidence into clinical practice.
