LevelUpWV: Dual Enrollment Program

LevelUpWV is West Virginia’s state-funded dual enrollment pilot program, designed to provide high school students with the opportunity to take college-level courses at West Liberty and other public colleges. Students can earn college credit while still in high school by enrolling in structured course pathways aligned with West Virginia’s high-demand career sectors. These fields include health care, nursing, social work, business, education and more.

The program covers tuition and mandatory fees through formal agreements between participating institutions and the state. Students gain early exposure to college coursework, helping them graduate sooner and transition more effectively into the workforce or further postsecondary education. The initiative particularly aims to close equity gaps by encouraging participation among students who might not otherwise consider college.
