Center for Teaching, Learning, and Online Education

The Center for Teaching, Learning, and Online Education, located in the East wing of Main Hall, supports the design, development, and delivery of online courses and programs for students who need or want to learn without the barriers of time or place. Undergraduate students receive an orientation to Canvas, the university's LMS, and online learning during the Hilltop Experience course. In addition to providing instructional design services and professional development for faculty, the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Online Education serves as the LMS administrator. General questions about the LMS should be sent to the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Online Education at CTLOE@westliberty.edu  Instructure, the maker of Canvas, provides 24/7 user support. To obtain assistance while using Canvas, select the Help button on the Global Navigation Menu found on your Dashboard in Canvas.
