ART 483 Graphic Design Studio
Students work in design teams and engage with live nonprofit clients to deliver real and effective design solutions. Students participate in a full range of activities within a simulated studio environment by practicing client relations, communication, and interaction; strategic design development; high-quality design and production of deliverables; and professional presentation of design solutions. Advanced application of design theory, strategy and practical design skills, as well as writing, communication, organization, and collaborative relationship building are practiced during each project. Entry into the class will be contingent upon the successful completion of a graphic design portfolio review. The portfolio review will be conducted by the graphic design faculty.
