Work Study

An employment position that is awarded to students showing financial need. A student who is awarded work study through the Financial Aid Office can then apply for available positions through the Student Employment Sharepoint site using their SSO. The student receives a paycheck every two weeks according to the payroll schedule. The usual workload per week varies from 5 to 20 hours. The work-study award is not applied to the student’s bill.
