Online Courses

West Liberty University offers a variety of online courses delivered via the Learning Management System, Canvas. While not all courses are offered online, those that are meet the same outcomes and standards of rigor as their classroom counterparts. An orientation to online learning is offered in each section of the Hilltop Experience so that students are prepared to be successful in online coursework.

Complaint, Grievance, and Appeal Procedures for Online Courses

Complaints about online courses must go through WLU’s standard procedure for the resolution of student grievances. To file a complaint about an online course, please complete the form found at https://westliberty.edu/ctloe/contact/complaint-form-2/ (will change due to website revisions) If a student is not satisfied with the outcome of the institutional process, a complaint may be brought to the West Virginia SARA portal entity.
