BIO 434 Endocrinology

A broad examination of human endocrinology with basic applications. Course topics will include the classes of hormones, sources and synthesis of hormones, receptors and target tissues, and mechanisms of action and regulation of hormones in healthy and disease states. Students will also review scientific literature in the field of endocrinology.
