ART 190 Introduction to Computer Graphics
Introduction to the use of digital processes in art and design; hands-on instruction with the operating system and software interface; theory and best practices for editing and creating effective digital work; instruction in the proper use of industry-leading raster, vector, and publication software; introduction to the use of storage devices, graphics tablets, and printers. Students will create original digital work using images, text, and illustrations. Emphasis is on the aesthetic and technical potential of digital solutions at a fundamental level.
