This major is designed to equip individuals with the business-oriented skills necessary for success in management positions in each segment of the sport industry, including, but not limited to, scholastic, collegiate and professional sport, facilities management, sporting goods industry, and campus recreation.

Master of Business Administration Fast Track
The WLU Fast Track is designed to connect West Liberty University undergraduate degree programs with the WLU Master of Business Administration (MBA) graduate program.
Undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) students can get a jump start on their MBA by taking up to 4 courses or 12 credit hours as they complete their undergraduate program, creating an efficient and attractive pathway from their bachelor’s degree to a master's degree.
Undergraduate Fast Track Admission Requirements:
- Students must apply for conditional MBA admission through the Chair of the
Graduate Programs (see Chair for application)
- The Peregrine entrance exam is normally completed in the MGT498
undergraduate capstone course
- Students must, at a minimum, have earned a total of 75 undergraduate credit
hours
- Students must have, at a minimum, a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher for
admission acceptance
- Students can take a maximum of four graduate course replacements, graduate
courses that count backward toward the undergraduate degree as well as
forward toward the MBA
