NUR 390 Nursing Discipline Development
This course introduces the differences between Nursing Professionalism and Nursing as a Discipline. The evolution of nursing as an application of skills to the evidence-based discipline found in the current healthcare environment is explored. Criteria to evaluate internet resources are incorporated in the search for evidence-based practice within the context of science, healthcare policy and politics.
Prerequisite
Admission to the Nursing Program. Registered Nurse licensure in WV or Compact Licensure.
