NUR 394 Chronicity Across the Lifespan

Students will evaluate factors influencing health maintenance with chronic illnesses, the impact of financial constraints and cost of medicine, health literacy, patient education and care outcomes. The role of nursing extending from acute care, transitional care, community care, long-term care, palliative care and hospice is addressed.
