EP 482 Exercise Physiology Internship

This 2-credit hour Exercise Physiology Internship provides undergraduate students with supervised experience in a professional setting related to exercise science, human performance, strength and conditioning, allied health or clinical exercise physiology. Students will apply theoretical knowledge and technical skills acquired in previous coursework to real-world environments such as fitness and wellness centers, cardiac rehabilitation programs, strength and conditioning facilities, research laboratories, or allied health organizations.

Interns are required to complete a minimum of 100 supervised hours over the course of the semester. In addition to on-site work, students will complete reflective assignments, and participate in periodic evaluations with both site supervisors and faculty coordinators.
