BIO 532 Graduate Histology
Advanced study of microscopic structure and correlating function of human cells, tissues, and organ systems. Evaluation of normal organization of cells and tissues will be compared to the clinical consequences in dysfunctional cells and tissues. Laboratory includes in-depth study of prepared tissue slides using light microscopy and applied tissue processing, sectioning and slide preparation. Combination of lecture and laboratory sessions each week.
