BIO 534 Graduate Endocrinology
In-depth examination of human endocrinology with application to dysfunction of systems and current research. Topics include an up-to-date assessment of various classes of hormones, sources and synthesis of hormones, receptors and target tissues, and mechanisms of action and regulation of hormones in healthy and disease states. Students will also review and interpret current scientific literature in the field of endocrinology.
