Catalog Determines Graduation Requirements

A student’s graduation is contingent upon the fulfillment of all requirements listed in their entrance catalog, provided that the degree is conferred within six calendar years of initial admission. Students who have had their attendance interrupted may be required to update their catalog year and meet the requirements of the catalog in effect at the time of re-entrance to WLU.

Students may request a change to a later catalog if it is in their best interests to do so.  In such cases, students must meet all requirements in the newer catalog, including general education as well as any new requirements in a selected major/minor. No student may transfer to a catalog in effect prior to his/her initial registration at WLU, nor may a student return to the requirements of a prior year’s catalog, having once transferred to a later edition.

The Committee on Admissions and Credits has the right to make final decisions concerning the requirements which must be met. Students should use Toppertracks/Degreeworks, the WLU online degree audit system, to track requirements.
