Geography and Planning (B.S.)
Geography examines the distributions of and relationships between human and natural landscapes. Students learn about spatial aspects of topography, natural resources and climate as they relate to culture, economic and political systems. Students gain experience with modern technologies of data collection and mapping, including GIS skills commonly used in many industries. The curriculum prepares students for success in jobs relating to urban and rural planning, non-profit organizations, resource management, tourism, and economic revitalization.
