The Cybersecurity major provides instruction in the area Cybersecurity Information Assurance within the Business Information Systems arena. Coursework is centered around cyber threats, cyber vulnerabilities, cyber risks, digital forensics, network security, and network penetration. The curriculum emphasizes Hypertext Markup Language (HTML & CSS), Java, and Operating Systems. Additionally, students will obtain Personal Computer (PC) and Networking skills that are needed for the communication of IoT devices. Overall, students will get practical hands-on industry related experience.

Master of Business Administration Fast Track

The new WLU Fast Track initiative is designed to connect West Liberty University undergraduate degree programs with the WLU MBA graduate program. Undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) students can get a jump start on an MBA by taking up to 4 courses or 12 credit hours as they complete their undergraduate program to complete up to 40% of their 10-course MBA. A savings of both time and money, the Fast Track initiative provides students an attractive and efficient pathway from their bachelor’s degree to a master's degree.
